The benefits of microneedling treatments aren’t limited to the face. Microneedling is also
commonly used on hands, and is an ideal treatment for diminishing the appearance of stretch marks or scars, wherever they are on your body. Many of our patients who’ve gotten surgical procedures find microneedling to be very helpful in ensuring their surgical scars heal beautifully. Who is a good candidate for Microneedling treatments? Unlike other non-surgical treatments, microneedling has been clinically shown to be effective for women and men of all skin types. If you have wrinkles, acne, scars, age spots, and/or large pores you want to treat, microneedling may be right for you. Microneedling may not be right for you if you have active skin irritation or infection, you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you are currently taking Accutane or a similar isotretinoin drug. During your consultation, our skin experts will help determine if microneedling is a good fit for you.
